About this executable study

Colcha is reconstructed from its Applesoft BASIC listing and the original TABLE/PROGRAM binary loaded at $6000. The program repeatedly calls shape 3 from that multi-shape library and uses the same embedded 6502 speaker routine found in the related works.

The work develops three linked processes over a randomly colored high-resolution field: two opposing rotational growths accompanied by short randomized tones; a first XOR weave whose pitch rises as the scale advances; and a second XOR weave whose pitch descends. Timing and sound are calibrated against the three-run Virtual ][ reference recording, with the validated Tear and Colcha 3 reconstructions used as comparative references. Browser audio remains representative rather than a cycle-exact emulation of the Apple IIe speaker.
