Anjo Novo

This browser reconstruction is based on the original Applesoft BASIC program for Anjo Novo and the SHAPESALAO shape table loaded at $6000. It preserves the title sequence, the scaling build-up of shape 1 at one randomly selected quarter-turn, the following XDRAW sweep of shape 2, and the restart cycle.

The original program also embeds a short Apple II speaker routine directly in BASIC. This version recreates the sound behavior in the browser using the Web Audio API, with a deeper, more resonant staccato articulation during the scaling phase and a wider descending pitch spread during the second-shape sweep. The work must be started with a user click.
